Generation Z are the first truly digital native generation, more likely than previous generations to embrace diversity and hold different societal values, especially around sustainability close to their hearts. Yet, their future is far from certain. Shaped by COVID -19, they are more likely to have been exposed to the rising inequalities, the effects of climate change and economic and political instability. This is the future generation entering our workforces, voting and shaping our societies. This lively discussion focuses on giving a glimpse into Gen Z’s hopes and aspirations for the future, whilst discussing their early experiences with helping to shape our societal values and adopt circular economies.
